This permanent exhibition tells the 75-year history of Cineteatro Alba, the performance venue in Albergaria-a-Velha that opened on 11 February 1950. It was created on the initiative of the Martins Pereira family, who were associated with the Alba company. It was transferred to the Municipal Council in 1995 and underwent renovation, reopening in 2012. The exhibition brings together the key moments from 1950 to 2025: the cinema, theatre and variety shows that took place on its stage, the life of the venue over the decades and its renewal. The exhibition can be visited within the building itself. It is part of the anniversary celebrations, which in 2025 also included performative visits featuring staging, music and dance. It is an offer for those who want to discover the memory of one of the most significant cultural spaces in the municipality. It serves both those who grew up watching films and performances in this venue and those discovering it now.
