The Open Week of the 25th Anniversary of the Museu do Papel Terras de Santa Maria concludes with the presentation of the second edition of A Indústria do Papel em Paços de Brandão e Terras de Santa Maria, a reference work on the history of paper-making activity in the region. The book is by Maria José Ferreira dos Santos, former director and current scientific consultant of the museum. It re-publishes a work dedicated to the memory of an industry that marked Paços de Brandão and the neighbouring lands, and which the museum has preserved and promoted since its opening. The session also includes a guided tour of the museum, and is therefore a good opportunity for those who wish to discover the territory and its industrial heritage, whether or not they are already familiar with the subject.
