Amália Hoje
Amália Nossa
About
Amália Nossa is the new album and show by the band Amália Hoje, the project that, for more than fifteen years, has reinvented Amália Rodrigues' work for a new generation and became a phenomenon of sales, critical acclaim and audience success. This new chapter is not a nostalgic return: it opens a new creative cycle and deepens the dialogue between Amália's legacy and a contemporary musical language. The arrangements were recorded by the London Session Orchestra and the show features a strong visual component. On stage are the voices of Sónia Tavares and Fernando Ribeiro, accompanied by Paulo Praça (guitar and vocals), Nuno Gonçalves (vocals, keyboards and programming), Mário Barreiros (drums), Carl Minnemann (bass) and Israel Costa Pereira (guitar and keyboards). The concert lasts approximately 80 minutes and there is a free babysitting service for those who wish to attend without their children.
