Traditional folk dance event hosted by Academia de Artes Maria Amélia Simões (A.A.M.A.D.S), part of the ART&TUR programme, the International Tourism Film Festival taking place in Ovar between 27 and 30 October. It is a moment of music and dance rooted in popular tradition, where the audience can join the dance floor, watch or simply listen. It functions as a cultural break between cinema sessions, round tables and conversations with filmmakers that make up the festival. ART&TUR has existed since 2008 and distinguishes audiovisual tourism productions made in Portugal and around the world. In this 19th edition, the first in Ovar, it brings together 51 films selected from 247 submissions from 45 countries, alongside concerts and immersive experiences that showcase the territory through culture.
