Bandas em Concerto
Associação de Instrução e Recreio Angejense
About
Concert by the Banda da Associação de Instrução e Recreio Angejense from Angeja, part of the Bandas em Concerto cycle at Cineteatro Alba. The cycle was conceived to foster a taste for instrumental, philharmonic and symphonic music and to showcase the work of local bands, both in their cultural and educational roles. The Angeja band is approaching 160 years of existence and has played a central role in the musical training of young people in the parish. This youth presence is evident on stage, reflected in a repertoire that seeks to break down barriers between tradition and contemporary music. This is a concert for those who enjoy philharmonic music and for those who wish to discover what a community band with various generations can achieve. The session lasts approximately 75 minutes and is suitable for ages 6 and above.
