Os Bandidos do Cante take the stage at Teatro Municipal de Oliveira de Azeméis (TeMA) to mark the third anniversary of the venue, in a concert that blends the tradition of Cante Alentejano with other sounds. The group belongs to a new generation of collectives seeking to renew and promote Cante, a musical expression deeply rooted in the identity of Alentejo and recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. They describe themselves as "children of the children of the land" and focus on fusion with other musical languages, without losing the connection to their roots. Os Bandidos do Cante come to Oliveira de Azeméis as winners of the Festival da Canção 2026. The show lasts approximately 75 minutes and is aimed at those who wish to hear Cante Alentejano in dialogue with today's Portuguese music.
