Boca a Boca, com Red Cloud Teatro de Marionetas

About

Boca a Boca is an itinerant series of shared readings of dramatic texts, organised by GrETUA. In each session, an invited artist chooses a play and it is read aloud in a circle, on chairs, cushions or on the ground, with small cakes and a glass of water. Anyone can participate, without fear of getting lost along the way. In this session, the venue is the home of Red Cloud Teatro de Marionetas, a company based in Aveiro, created in 2013, which performs on national and international stages. Between rehearsals of their new creation, they open their doors for the first reading aloud of en.tre.nar.ra.ti.vas, which opens in December at Teatro Aveirense. At the heart of the performance is Sankofa, a puppet that is a woman, an archive and multiple voices at the same time, alongside real figures that early twentieth-century Portuguese history preferred to forget. Entry is free, by reservation, and the session is for ages 14 and over.
