About
Cantar-o-Lar is a community art music project making its debut on the stage of Teatro Aveirense. The work is guided by Orquestra Sem Fronteiras and brings together artists from four care homes in Aveiro. Instead of bringing music to the care homes, the project brings to the stage the people who live in them, as protagonists of the performance. The title combines singing with the idea of home, and the result is an encounter between generations, institutions and knowledge of the local community. It is a proposal for those interested in community participation projects and music made with the people of the city.
