Catarina Carvalho Gomes is an actress who makes her debut here as a singer-songwriter, with a project built from the themes of traditional songwriting and a close relationship with the Portuguese language, stemming from her interest in theatrical and poetic text. The songs speak of grief, fascination, loneliness, generational conflict and heritage, and draw parallels between the emotional cycles of human beings and the natural cycles of flora. The voice is always the central instrument, and the path leads through folk, indie, jazz and fado. It is a celebration of the earth and its fruits, which looks at life and death with joy and inevitability. On stage, Catarina Carvalho Gomes signs the authorship and sings, accompanied by João Grilo on piano and arrangements and Gonçalo Cravinho on double bass. The concert is part of the OuTonalidades circuit and lasts approximately 75 minutes.
