Ciclo de Concertos "Do Ibérico ao Românico"
About
This concert of lyrical singing and classical guitar is part of the cycle Do Ibérico ao Românico, a project inspired by Iberian culture and its traditions. The idea is to bring together music, architecture and history in a single experience, taking concerts to Romanesque heritage spaces in the Vale do Sousa, Douro and Tâmega regions. On stage are Inês Pinto, on lyrical singing, and Márcio Silva, on classical guitar. The duo had already toured the Rota do Românico in 2024, with six performances, and now returns with five performances in churches, a monastery and a chapel in various municipalities. The Castelo de Paiva session takes place in the church of Sobrado, where voice and guitar dialogue with the stone and silence of an ancient temple. It is a good entry point for those who enjoy chamber music or heritage and want to hear Iberian repertoire in an unusual context. The cycle is a co-production of Pátio Bravo – Associação Cultural and Rota do Românico, with support from the Direção-Geral das Artes.
