The fourth and final concert of the cycle "Music, Art and Culture in the Feminine" closes a series of lecture-concerts dedicated to the presence of women in European music and culture. It features organist Paulo Bernardino, artistic director of the cycle, who conceived it in collaboration with Maria de Lurdes Fernandes. The cycle runs between June 2026 and January 2027, linked to the historical and spiritual heritage of Mosteiro de Arouca. Each session combines academic research, historically informed musical interpretation and conversation with the audience, around feminine artistic creation, social history, spirituality and the recovery of composers often forgotten by music historiography. The initiative is promoted by Real Irmandade da Rainha Santa Mafalda de Arouca and admission is free, making it accessible to those who wish to discover this repertoire.
