Digger is a film directed by Alejandro G. Iñárritu, starring Tom Cruise in the lead role. Tom Cruise plays the most powerful man on the planet who, after causing a global-scale catastrophe, attempts to repair the damage caused and reclaim his status as a hero. With time running out, the character must face the consequences of his own decisions before the chaos he has unleashed consumes everything around him. The synopsis presents the film as a crossroads between large-scale drama and a moral interrogation, in a story of constant tension bearing the visual trademark of the director. The cast also includes Riz Ahmed, John Goodman, Sandra Hüller, Michael Stuhlbarg and Jesse Plemons. A US production, running 114 minutes with no intermission, it is shown at Cineteatro Anadia, in a screening promoted by the Municipality of Anadia. Reduced prices are available for students, children and holders of the Anadia Young or Senior Card.
