Diogo Batáguas
Hu'morde-me
About
"Optimistic Skeptic" is the fourth solo stand-up comedy show by Diogo Batáguas, presented at Hu'morde-me, the Oliveira do Bairro Humor Festival, which this year extends over two weekends in November and brings together six comedians. The starting point is the conviction that, with greater or lesser difficulty, everything tends to work out more or less well. Diogo looks to the future of the children and pets he has at home with hope: he imagines it full of unexpected challenges, but less harsh than that of his ancestors. At the same time, he admits that everything could go wrong in the coming years, or that, after all, it might not. It is a comedy show for an adult audience, lasting around 75 minutes, which starts from family life to talk about expectations, fears and the balance between optimism and mistrust.
