DJ Kareka opens the New Year's Eve 2026/2027 celebration in Oliveira de Azeméis, the first of two days of outdoor festivities at Praça da Cidade. It is a music session for dancing that kicks off the programme and sets the stage for the night ahead. The celebration is organized by the Municipal Council, in collaboration with local associations. It was born in 2025, when the municipality assumed New Year's Eve as its own event for the first time, with the idea of bringing together the population in public space, in a convivial atmosphere. On the same night, after Kareka, the stage welcomes Para Sempre Marco and, at midnight, DJ Differ. On the 31st, the programme continues with Trovas à Tôa, fireworks at midnight, a concert by Toy and, to close, DJ Martim Azevedo. Those who want to start the party earlier, without waiting for New Year's Eve, will find the first night here.
