Coro do CiRAC
About
Choral music concert by Coro do CiRAC, the group from Círculo de Recreio, Arte e Cultura de Paços de Brandão, as part of FIMUV. The performance marks the beginning of a new phase for the choir and reflects on the path taken so far. The first part brings together a selection of classics from the vocal repertoire, pieces that have accompanied the choir over the last decades and that many of its followers will recognise. The second part looks to the future, with excerpts from larger choral works, such as Schubert's German Mass and Mass No. 2, and choruses from the baroque opera Dido and Aeneas. The concert features the participation of a string quartet and guest singers who maintain a connection to CiRAC. It is a programme designed for the community of Paços de Brandão and for those who enjoy listening to a choir live in a church, even without knowing the group.
