Festival da Castanha 2026

The Chestnut Festival takes over the historic centre of Arouca for three days in October, centred around one of the products most associated with autumn in the municipality. It brings together tradition, gastronomy and conviviality, with a programme designed for families, the curious and those who enjoy local flavours. There were also moments of music and dance, such as the Baile do Ouriço. The 2026 programme will still be announced by the Municipal Council and may be subject to changes.
