Festival Sénior Estarreja

About

The Senior Festival is a proposal from the Municipality of Estarreja, in partnership with the Social Network and within the VIVER+ program, for those over 55 years old. Throughout October, all activities are free and serve to get out of the house, get to know the municipality and try new things. The motto is "in October, grandparents are busy". The program mixes body, memory and culture. There is a five-kilometer interpretive walk through BioRia, zumba gold, adapted yoga, traditional games and a sports afternoon. There is also a guided tour of the urban art works in the municipality, story sessions with Jorge Serafim at the Municipal Library, the exhibition "Entre Agulhas" and visits to the Casa-Museu Egas Moniz and the Museu Fábrica da História – Arroz. The fado cycle "O Fado Mora Aqui", with Costa Pereira, tours the social institutions of the municipality until October 30th. The GNR also runs prevention sessions "Idosos em Segurança".
