Flamingo

About

Flamingo is a dance performance choreographed by Remy Tilburg, produced by IID Company, in which nature finds its voice through movement. In a poetic and symbolic setting, bodies transform into flamingos and evoke ideas of freedom, identity and evolution. Between beauty and fragility, the work reflects on the delicate balance between humanity and the planet, and echoes the environmental urgencies of the present. The result is a visually intense spectacle, in which light, scenography and costumes play a central role in building this universe. The music is composed by THE_AND Music, which also creates the SoundShirt. Lighting design by Sascha Zauner and Marvin van den Berg, scenography by Marcel Refunk and costumes by Mona Hapke. Recommended for ages 14 and above.
