Fireworks display marking the entrance into 2027 in the centre of Oliveira de Azeméis, on the night of 31 December. The display takes place at midnight in Praça da Cidade, and marks the turning point of an open-air party night, open to anyone who wants to join in the street. The spectacle is part of the New Year's Eve programme promoted by the Municipal Council. The night begins with the group Trovas à Tôa, a local agent of traditional music, and continues after the fireworks with a concert by Toy, a major name in Portuguese popular music, at 00h15. DJ Martim Azevedo closes the early morning. It is a proposal for families, groups of friends and for those who prefer to welcome the new year in community, with music and the city sky as a backdrop.
