Helena Caldeira is an actress known to the general public for the Netflix series "Rabo de Peixe", and is now making her debut as a singer and songwriter. In "ABALAR", her first album, she combines voice, lyrics and composition in nine songs dedicated to women and Alentejo, in a tribute to cultural heritage and origins. With roots in Montemor-o-Novo, she sings the stories of the women around her, between Alentejo soundscapes and contemporary electronics, with production by FOQUE. The concert is part of the Novas Quintas cycle at Teatro Aveirense, dedicated to new Portuguese music. The cycle has existed since 2017, in partnership with Arruada, and has already brought artists such as Joana Espadinha, Surma, Luís Severo and Jüra to the Studio Hall. It is a good opportunity for those who enjoy author-driven music with traditional roots and a feminine perspective, and for those who want to see the actress in a new role, singing her own songs.
