Concert of young musicians awarded in the XIX Paços' Premium International Music Competition, presented in partnership between the FIMUV (International Music Festival of Paços de Brandão) and the International Festival Cidade do Fundão. The programme gives the laureates the opportunity to perform in public and to experience different professional environments. The first part features Leonor Dias, with Initial S by Kazuo Sakai, and Drei Romanzen, op. 94, by Schumann. Follows pianist Mateus Barros, with Malagueña by Ernesto Lecuona, the Etude-Tableau op. 39, no. 1, by Rachmaninoff, and Spanish Rhapsody by Liszt. It is a concert for those who enjoy chamber music and piano and want to hear performers at the beginning of their careers, in a repertoire ranging from Romanticism to contemporary works. Admission is free.
