About

Historical literacy session in the crypt of Igreja Nova de Rio Meão, dedicated to the memory and heritage of the parish. Part of the Literacy Axis of the M.A.L.T.A. project (Memory, Action, Legacy, Territory and Art), the proposal that made Rio Meão the Cultural Capital of Santa Maria da Feira.M.A.L.T.A. alludes to the origins of the parish and distributes seven months of programming for all ages, crossing history, heritage and culture. The session serves this purpose: to help read the territory through its history and to look differently at the places and marks that the community has inherited. The Cultura Capital program is based on active participation and co-creation, so the session is aimed at those who live in Rio Meão and those who want to know more about the heritage of the parish.
