Exhibition of album covers by Miles Davis and John Coltrane, marking the centenary of the birth of two of the most influential musicians in jazz history. The exhibition is curated by Jazz Messengers. The exhibition was first held at the 8ª Avenida shopping centre, where it opened on 4 October, and now arrives at Casa da Criatividade as the second stage. It brings together landmark albums by the two saxophonists and trumpeter, conceived as a gateway to their careers and to the visual language associated with jazz. It is part of the programming of the Novembro Jazz Festival, promoted by Casa da Criatividade and the Municipality of São João da Madeira. It can be visited by those who already know Miles and Trane and by those who want to start discovering them.
