Miramar & Ensemble de Cordas da EPME
About
Miramar is the duo of guitarists formed by Frankie Chavez and Peixe (from Ornatos Violeta and Pluto). With three albums released, the project is known for its atmospheric, contemplative and cinematographic soundscapes, in the territory of folk and indie. The first album was described as a travel diary, the second as a laboratory of places. The third, Miramar III, turns to the memories of the space where everything happened: there are visits, neighbours, noise and interference. The duo looks at these memories from new angles, like those who return to a place where they were happy in the hope that it, like them, has changed. In this unprecedented concert at Auditório de Espinho, Miramar performs accompanied by a string ensemble formed by students from Escola Profissional de Música de Espinho.
