Natalim is Estarreja's Christmas programme, designed for the whole family with free admission. Over more than five weeks, Praça Francisco Barbosa transforms into a scene of snowmen, tin soldiers, fairies and elves, with the traditional giant Christmas Tree as the central point. Father Christmas, the most anticipated guest for children, also makes an appearance there. The programme brings together shows, music and street entertainment, traditional games, workshops and children's activities. There is also a Christmas Market, solidarity campaigns and a window display competition, alongside the lighting and decorations typical of the season. This year's theme is 'A World of Dreams that has no end'. The event is organised by Estarreja Municipal Council and activities take place in the square, in the city centre.
