O Filho
About
"The Son" is a play by French playwright Florian Zeller, directed by Brazilian Léo Stefanini, who previously directed "The Father", also by Zeller. Here, the text looks directly at family, adolescence and mental health. The story follows Nicolas, a 16-year-old boy going through a deep depression following his parents' separation. Between silences, fragility and attempts at reconnection, the play explores family relationships and the emotional challenges of today's youth. The cast includes Maria Flor, Gabriel Braga Nunes, Bruna Miglioranza and Andreas Trotta. The text has been staged in over 20 countries and adapted for cinema. It is a show for adult and teenage audiences from age 16 onwards, addressing themes that many families recognize.
