O Problema da habitação e o papel ético e social da arquitetura
About
Conversation with architect Maria Neto about the ethical and social role of architecture in addressing the housing problem. This is the second of three conversations organized by Teatro Aveirense in the Salão Nobre, always in the late afternoon, within the cycle The Housing Problem. The cycle stems from the play The Housing Problem, by the Journalists Theater Group, directed by Jorge Louraço Figueira and Leonor Wellenkamp Carretas, which portrays a country with and without shelter through scenes written by journalists. Around the performance, the programming combines theater, cinema, music, an exhibition and conversations, with historical, artistic and social perspectives on the right to housing and people's relationship with the spaces where they live. This session gives voice to architecture, asking what responsibilities those who design houses and cities have. Free admission.
