O Problema da Habitação [ESTREIA]

About

O Problema da Habitação is a theater production that portrays the country with and without housing based on scenes written by a group of journalists. The staging is directed by Jorge Louraço Figueira and Leonor Wellenkamp Carretas, and this is the premiere of the play at Teatro Aveirense. The production gives its name and starting point to a programming cycle dedicated to housing, which extends through the final months of the year with three conversations, a film cycle, a concert and an exhibition. Among the proposals are the exhibition Arquitetas da Liberdade, the concert Home by Francisco Sasseti, and conversations about the ethical and social role of architecture and about public space. It is a proposal for those who wish to examine, through theater, one of the most pressing issues in current debate and continue to think about it through the activities gathered in this cycle.
