O Soldadinho de Chumbo

About

In a house where toys come to life whenever human eyes close, a tin soldier with only one leg discovers that being different can be the beginning of a great adventure. Jangada Teatro draws from Hans Christian Andersen's classic tale and brings it to life in a production full of imagination, humor and poetry. The language is contemporary, the music is original and the characters are surprising, among them the enigmatic Saci and the irreverent Harlequin. The show takes the audience to a universe where toys think, feel and dream. It is children's theatre designed for the whole family, suitable from age 3 onwards, and is part of the end-of-year programming at Teatro Municipal de Oliveira de Azeméis.
