About
Orchestra 3 eFes presents "Broadway & Cinema in Concert", a concert that explores cinema music and the great musicals of Broadway and the West End. The orchestra is conducted by André Lousada and features two of the most recognised names in Portuguese musical theatre, Sofia Escobar and Ricardo Afonso, as soloists. The programme brings together themes such as Come What May, The Show Must Go On, La Califfa and Never Enough, and includes the duets Barcelona, Tonight and As Long As You're Mine. It is a concert designed for those who love music, cinema and musical theatre. Orchestra 3 eFes was born from a pedagogical mission and brings together students from the three official music schools in the municipality of Santa Maria da Feira: the Academy of Music of Paços de Brandão, the Academy of Music of Santa Maria da Feira and the Conservatory of Music Terras de Santa Maria.
