Peçanha: Protocolo de Segurança

About

Peçanha – Protocolo de Segurança is a solo stand-up comedy show starring Peçanha, one of the most popular characters from the Porta dos Fundos collective. It blends humor and social criticism from a simple idea: the safety instructions heard before a cinema session. Since in theater these instructions are rarely followed, "Sergeant-Lieutenant-Major" Peçanha, with over twenty years in the force, decides to guide the audience before a fictional play, Hamlet. The lead actor is running late, and the officer is forced to entertain the public. He talks about the daily life and work of a "40-something" officer trying to adapt to the world of 2026. In this deconstruction effort, Peçanha uses humor to address themes such as sexism, homophobia and self-help, with direct interaction with the audience. Age rating: 16 and over.
