Penumbra is a concert by the Banda Marcial do Vale, a century-old philharmonic band with several international distinctions, presented at the Main Hall of Cineteatro António Lamoso, in Santa Maria da Feira. The performance moves along the border between light and shadow and combines tradition and innovation in an immersive and contemporary format. Over approximately an hour and a half, each work in the programme explores transformation, tension and beauty, in a play between what is seen and what remains hidden. It is a proposal for those who want to hear a philharmonic band outside the usual concert format, in a more theatrical and sonic register than a formal one. Admission is allowed from age 3 and the age rating is for over 6.
