Toy, the stage name of António Manuel Neves Ferrão and one of the icons of Portuguese light music, is the main concert of Oliveira de Azeméis' New Year's Eve celebration. He takes the stage immediately after the fireworks marking the arrival of 2027, with a lineup that brings together some of the greatest hits of his career. It is a show designed for the audience to sing along, right in the Praça da Cidade, with audiences of all ages. The night begins with the local group Trovas à Tôa and continues into the early morning with DJ Martim Azevedo, who closes the celebration. The New Year's Eve celebration is organized by the City Council and features the participation of local associations. It began in 2025 as a public open-air celebration, outside the walls of the municipal theatre, to return the central square to the community.
