Trovas à Tôa is a local group of traditional music that opens the night of December 31st in Praça da Cidade, in Oliveira de Azeméis. Their performance kicks off a New Year's Eve celebration organized by the Municipal Council, with free admission. The repertoire is based on traditional music, in a format designed to get the public dancing outdoors, even before midnight. It is a proposal for proximity, with a cultural agent from the municipality taking a prominent place in a celebration that brings together residents of Oliveira de Azeméis and visitors. After the performance, the night continues with the fireworks marking the entry into 2027, the concert by singer Toy, with the greatest hits of his career, and DJ Martim Azevedo, who extends the party into the early morning. For those who want to welcome the new year in a popular and family atmosphere, it is the first part of a program that starts with dancing and goes well into the night.
