Vestígios de uma forma de pensar
About
Traces of a Way of Thinking brings together around 240 original works by Spanish designer and illustrator Isidro Ferrer: posters, objects that serve as his inspiration and pages from his sketchbooks. The exhibition follows the path of an idea, from the initial gesture to the final image, and shows how it finds a language and takes form. Isidro Ferrer is one of the most influential visual creators in the contemporary Spanish graphic design landscape. He received the National Design Prize (2002) and the National Illustration Prize (2006). His work sits between design, illustration, visual poetry and sculptural object, with strong narrative capacity and a universe of his own. The exhibition is part of Miolo – Festival of Literature and Thought. Admission is free and is of interest to those who enjoy design, illustration and understanding how an image is created.
