Workshop de dança (FUNANIGHT)

The dance workshop is one of the highlights of FUNANIGHT, a festival dedicated to dance, music and culture from PALOP (Portuguese-speaking African Countries). Led by Tony Mondlane, it functions as a pop-up workshop: it appears throughout the night, allowing people to learn some steps before hitting the dance floor. FUNANIGHT transforms the black box of GrETUA into a musical melting pot where marrabenta, morna, kuduro and funaná coexist with concerts and DJ sets. The line-up includes Pedrinho Xalé, Luna do Mundo (DJ set) and N.E.S.T.A. The festival is a co-production between GrETUA, Machamba, AAUAv and the CPLP-AAUAv Nucleus. It is an event for ages 6 and up, designed for those who want to dance, even without prior experience.
