Workshops na Praça

About

The Workshops in the Square are a monthly activity of the Municipal Market of Albergaria-a-Velha, dedicated to manual arts and traditional knowledge. They take place in the market space and bring together people of various ages around hands-on making, in an intergenerational environment. Each session proposes a different workshop, guided by an invited trainer or craftsperson. Those who wish to participate must register in advance: registrations typically open about a week before the date, on the Municipal Council's website, and each registration is individual, so anyone wishing to register more than one person must fill out the form as many times as necessary. It is a good opportunity to try a craft, learn traditional techniques and share time with other generations.
