Workshops na Praça

About

The Workshops n'A Praça are a series of handicraft workshops held on Saturday mornings at the Municipal Market of Albergaria-a-Velha, aimed at the general community. Each session is led by artists, craftspeople or local associations, who share their knowledge and skills with participants. The series focuses on creativity, sustainability and the "do-it-yourself" practice, in contrast to fast consumption. The environment is intergenerational, so the workshops serve both those who have never tried manual work and those who already practice it. This workshop is part of the Christmas program of the series, which includes proposals such as handmade labels, scented pendants, Christmas arrangements and tote bags. Participation is free, but requires online registration on the Municipality's website, which usually opens about a week before each session. Each registration is individual.
